Nigerian singer and songwriter, Stanley Omah Didia, who’s popularly known as Omah La, was born on May 19, 19,97, in Igwuruta, Port Harcourt, Rivers St, Nigeria. His parents are from Rivers State too.

According to the available information, Omah Lay attended Comprehensive High School in Rivers State before he continued his education by attending the University of Port Harcourt.

Stanley Omah Didia came from a musical family because his grandfather played instruments for the late singer Celestine Ukwu before he passed away in 1977.

Omah Lay lost his father at age 12, so he was raised only by his mother, who is known as Mrs. Did, together with his siblings.
